On May 4th, the Rotary Club of Maraval not only celebrated with the rest of the Rotary World the anniversary of women being finally allowed to join Rotary, but equally important our Club's 28th birthday!
We were joined by so many supporting and well-wishing Clubs and were very fortunate to have our District Governor Lisle with us to fellowship and provide heartfelt greetings to our Club.
The main highlight was a fantastically put together video that shared on the Club's journey as we heard from our Charter President Dolores Jardine, her husband PP Tony Jardine who chartered our Club as President of the Rotary Club of Central POS and were then given several personal greetings from a myriad of past presidents.
Our projects, fun events and fundraisers were also highlighted and the video was closed off by our current President, Giselle Holder, sharing her outlook on RC of Maraval's future, 28 years and beyond.
Though the event was 100% virtual, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
