The Sergeant-At-Arms (SAA) position is a function that helps raise funds during Club meetings from Montgomery Village Rotary Club members. The SAA identifies "fine-worthy" offenses from amongst the members present. The fines are assessed at $1.00 per instance (member) and generally include birthdays, anniversaries, apparel conflicts, Club or Rotary international trivia knowledge and miscellaneous infractions - real or imagined by the the SAA.

Members are also encouraged to give "Happy Bucks" in celebration of business successes, family or other events in their lives. Happy Bucks are also given in celebration, honor or memory of family members, friends and business acquaintences.

Through the Montgomery Village Rotary Club Foundation, inc.'s "Tribute Program", members can give tax-deductible contributions and have a certificate or letter sent to recipient or honoree notifying them of the donation made in their name or the name of their loved one.
