July 2023Dear sponsors of the Nisku & Leduc Rotary Club, I greet you with great pleasure, hoping that you are well and thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship that you have given me to continue my studies. At the health center I have done very well. I've had a lot of work but now I feel like I'm doing it faster than before, now I understand more what I'm doing and it's easier for me. This month they moved me for a week to the Suchitlán health center to cover a doctor, it went very well and I had to consult many people I know. The weather is starting to get better, after waiting so long for the rain to finally start to rain, there were many very hot days and very high temperatures. But now the temperature is between 26 and 29 degrees in Suchitlán. My family has been very well and in very good health. Paola and Cindy are already on vacation, Andy and William are still going to school. I am very happy that in this cycle most of us are about to complete a stage of our studies. Andy will graduate from high school, Cindy from high school, Brenda from her international business degree, and me from Medicine. I say goodbye to you sending you my best wishes, accompanied by a big hug and a cordial greeting; thanking you once again for the great support you have given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Sincerely yours: ALONDRA MARLEN DE JESUS ASCEN

Dear sponsors of the Nisku & Leduc Rotary Club, I greet you with great pleasure, hoping that you are well and thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship that you have given me to continue my studies. At the health center I have done very well. This month I took my last vacation period, although I missed two days for administrative reasons, they will reward me later. I really enjoyed my vacations, I rested and studied a lot; I realized that I really like to study and do it for hours, only sometimes I am very tired from social service and I don't have much energy to do it as I would like. Now that I returned from vacation I have had a lot of consultations, I really like to see patients and give them very good care. However, I have also had a lot of work that is requested of me as manager, and it is a bit difficult to do several things at the same time. But the important thing is that my patients always thank me for the attention I give them during the consultation and it is something that motivates me a lot. My family has been very well and in very good health. I am very happy that my brothers and sisters are having their achievements; Brenda just presented her thesis and it seems to have gone very well. We are very proud of her and we know she will go a long way. I say goodbye to you sending you my best wishes, accompanied by a big hug and a cordial greeting; thanking you once again for the great support you have given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Sincerely yours: ALONDRA MARLEN DE JESUS ASCENCIO

April 2023 Letter from Alondra

Dear sponsors of the Nisku & Leduc Rotary Club, I greet you with great pleasure, hoping that you are well and thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship that you have given me to continue my studies.

At the health center I have done very well. This month it was not possible to take my vacation due to some pending work at the health center, so it will be in the month of May. This month compared to the other I don't feel so tired, I feel that now I managed my time better and I have more energy. I hope it will be the same for the following months.

I feel that now in Colima we have adapted better to the climate, we are ready for the month of May, respiratory diseases have dropped a lot, but we have had more diarrhea, it is curious to see how infectious diseases also depend on the weather. The good thing is that we are always prepared.

This month, because it is Children's Day in Mexico, I organized a small party for the children of Colomos. With the help of my family, who cooperated to make it possible, my mother helped me with the cake, Brenda with the soft drinks, my father with sweets and I with the pizza. I also took the opportunity to introduce them to my family, who were delighted.

I say goodbye to you sending you my best wishes, accompanied by a big hug and a cordial greeting; thanking you once again for the great support you have given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

March 2023 Letter from Alondra
Dear sponsors of the Nisku & Leduc Rotary Club,
I greet you with great pleasure, hoping that you are well and thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship that you have given me to continue my studies.

At the health center I have done very well. I have had a lot of work this month and I have felt more tired than usual, so I will ask for my vacation in April and thus have more energy for my last 3 months of social service. In general it has been a very difficult year, because of everything I have to do, but I feel that step by step I am achieving all my goals.

Now the weather in Colima is warmer, although where I live the temperature does not increase so much, it has affected the field workers a lot, many are more dehydrated and have headaches, for which I have also had more consultations. Fortunately, nothing has been serious and we have given instructions to reduce cases of heat stroke.

Being in this community where I am doing service has been a very good choice, I am close to my house, the people are very kind, respectful and they invite me to eat at their homes, although sometimes I do not have much time, but I am very grateful for your intention .

My family has been very well and in very good health. William has done very well in school, he has been awarded first place in his class all year, I am very proud of him. My sister Brenda is also about to graduate, and a week ago she had her professional exam, I trust she did very well, she is very intelligent and hard-working.

I say goodbye to you sending you my best wishes, accompanied by a big hug and a cordial greeting; thanking you once again for the great support you have given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Sincerely yours: ALONDRA MARLEN DE JESUS ASCENCI

Dear sponsors of the Nisku & Leduc Rotary Club, I greet you with great pleasure, hoping that you are well and thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship that you have given me to continue my studies.

At the health center I have done very well. I have had many things to do but I am already organizing myself better to have everything that is requested of me. Now that I no longer have a director, it's more difficult because I have to do all the administrative work, but it has given me new tools and new learning, so I'm very happy about that.

My family has been very well and in very good health. We are very happy because after a long time we have been able to make some infrastructure arrangements in my house. I am happy because I have been able to support my family in this project, and I hope to continue doing so in the future, working as I have always done.

My brothers are growing a lot. Andy is already taller than my dad and William continues to grow, it makes me very nostalgic to know that I saw them when they were very young and now they are teenagers.

Now that I have passed the professional exam, I have to see the administrative requirements in order to obtain my title. I am getting closer to the goal, thank you very much for all your support that you have given me, this would not be possible without you.

I say goodbye to you sending you my best wishes, accompanied by a big hug and a cordial greeting; thanking you once again for the great support you have given me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
