Please join us in welcoming our newest member, Shawna Bissell, to the Club! Filling in for Membership Director Grant Leach, Gerald Thomas officially inducted Shawna on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Shawna is sponsored by her husband and fellow Club member, Jon Bissell. The Bissells reside in Leduc, and through more than 20 years of marriage, Shawna is already very familiar with Rotary—having supported and sponsored Jon every step of the way.
Shawna’s hobbies and interests include reading, running, and she proudly describes herself as an organizer. Professionally, she is the Senior Operations Manager at Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization. Second Harvest’s vision is No Waste. No Hunger, with a mission to keep food where it belongs—on plates and out of landfills.
