President Milt Hodgins was up bright and early at 5:30 AM on Saturday, June 27, to present a cheque to the organizers of the MS Bike Tour at the Silent Ice Centre.
The $1000.00 donation was made in memory of our dear friend and longtime Rotarian, George Lavertu, who dedicated many years to supporting the MS Bike Tour and its mission.
Fittingly, this presentation marked Milt's final official duty as President of the Rotary Club of Nisku Leduc. We all know what a monumental effort it was for Milt to be there at that hour—he's definitely not known for being an early bird!
Thank you, Milt, for your outstanding leadership, dedication, and sense of humour throughout the past year. And thank you for making one last early morning commitment to honour George's legacy. Well done!
