The organizers of the Rotary Music Festival posted this article on their Facebook site this past Friday. They are very thankful for the funding our Club provides and very appreciative to our very own Myrtle, please read below.
The Nisku/Leduc Rotary Club is a member of an international service organization founded in 1905. Our local chapter was chartered in 1991 and is comprised of Leduc citizens who are committed to projects that grow and add value to our many communities within Nisku & Leduc.
They are passionate about initiatives which enhance the lives of others, young and old, through a spirit of service above self.
We are immensely grateful to the Rotary Club of Nisku-Leduc for their generosity in providing operating funds and scholarship money to the festival and students.
The Leduc Music Festival board is ever appreciative to Rotary member, Myrtle Smyth. She has acted as the Rotary liaison for the festival for over 11 years. As well as the chief of publicity and marshal for festival classes.
