As Community Relations Coordinator, Jill Spinks is responsible for fundraising events, community awareness initiatives and board of directors relations.
Jill joined Leduc Regional Housing Foundation in 2022 and has a broad range of entrepreneurial, administrative, and public relations experiences that help her excel in her role. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education with a specialization in Older Adults as well as a diploma in Volunteer Management.

Guest Speaker March 13 - Laura Talbert - Beaumont Songbirds
Laura has been singing since before she could talk, and hasn't stopped since. She started voice lessons when she was ten years old, entering the Mount Royal Conservatory in Calgary during high school, and competing in the Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival during much of her training. Laura was accepted in a Voice Performance bachelor’s program in 2000, and then into a master’s program in Voice Performance as a graduate assistant teaching voice at a private liberal arts college in South Carolina. During this time, she had the opportunity to perform in operas including Lucia di Lammermoor and Andrea Chenier.
While teaching during her master’s degree, she realized how much she loved teaching people how to find their own unique voice. Laura moved to Beaumont in 2010 and started Talbert Voice Studios with the Songbird Choirs starting in 2017 – with a focus of teaching people that everyone can sing.

Guest Speaker on March 6, 2025 - Christine Mason from the Leduc Community Hospital Foundation
The Leduc Community Hospital Foundation was pleased to announce that Christine Mason would join their team as the new Executive Director taking over from Colleen Zimmerman. Christine's background in business analysis, project management, philanthropic fundraising and her enthusiasm are assets that will help us continue to evolve the Foundation.
Christine is a seasoned business analyst and a project management professional with over 25 years of dedicated service in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Passionate about her community and committed to making a positive impact, she became the Foundation’s Executive Director in January 2025.
Leveraging her extensive experience in leadership, strategic business development, and community service, Christine expertly navigates the complexities of nonprofit organizations, consistently driving meaningful change. Dedicated to supporting the Leduc community, she is always ready to put her expertise to work for the greater good. She looks forward to meeting and working with their valued donors, partners, sponsors and volunteers.
