Dates to Remember
Fall 2014 we will again look for 1 lucky candidate who will spend a year abroad during the school year of 2015-2016. Below are some key dates.
Confirmed dates at school info sessions:
LCHS Lloydminster Comprehensive High School: TBA
Holy Rosary High School: TBA
Date TBA, 7pm Parent Night- The night you bring your parent(s) for an information evening. There is nothing to bring but your questions, maybe a notepad and your parents plus your completed Preliminary Outbound Student application if your decision is made to apply. This will be held at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School in the library.
Date TBA- Preliminary Outbound Student application together with school transcript from 2014 end of school year must be in to school counsellor by this date. Please review these carefully and ensure all areas are signed. These documents are available here.
Date TBA- Interview Day This is the evening we interview all candidates and their parents. It's important all attend. At the end of the evening our proposed exchange student for the 2015/2016 school year is chosen. The journey of course has just begun! Location: TBA
Further dates
January 2015- District Interview in Edmonton
February/March 2015- Students receive information about their host country.
March 20-22 2015- Youth Exchange Spring Orientation 2015, mandatory attendance for the student and parent(s)
July/August 2015- students depart for their host country.
