If you would like to make any additional contributions to the Rotary Foundation for this Rotary Year (2023-2024) follow these steps:
1. Go to My Rotary at Rotary.org - here is the hotlink: | My Rotary
2. Sign in (if you have forgotten your sign-in info, or need help, contact Greg, Hugh or Helene.
3. Pick 1 of the 5 Causes listed which include:
Featured Causes: Annual Fund SHARE, and Polio Plus Fund
Areas of Focus - allowing you to direct it to a project in 1 of the 7 areas of focus.
Global Grants - for a specific global grant project that you want to support. Libby talked about this during the meeting allowing you to direct an Annual Fund Share donation to a specific project like our Adopt a School Alotenango (Guatemala) - Phase II Project. You would need to search under GG Project 2352265 in the search box. It will indicate that the project has not yet been approved and recommends waiting till approved. However, it will allow you to donate a specific amount. If for some reason the project is not approved, the funds still go to Annual Fund SHARE which is still a win for Rotary, our District and our Club!
Named Funds: not sure what these are.
Endowments: to support a specific endowment and projects that it funds, if you know the name or id of the endowment.
4. Select a donation amount. For all the Causes listed, except Global Grants, your donation can be a 1-time or a recurring. If you select recurring, you set the frequency of the donation (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
5. Check your personal info, and billing address
6. Add your payment info and review your donation details if you like
7. Submit your Donation.
As a reminder, all Rotary Foundation donations will receive a tax receipt from TRF Canada. All contributions are also eligible for Paul Harris Fellow points towards PHF Awards for each $1,000USD donated.
