Bonjour Everyone!
My name is Melissa Thiessen and I am from the Grande Prairie Swan City
Rotary Club who is currently in the south-west of France for my
exchange! I've only been here two short weeks, but I have already
visited the northern part of France including Paris, started my new
school, and tried more sea food than you can imagine. I have a wonderful... first host family and am learning so many new things every single day..especially including the language!
I just want to thank my Rotary club for supporting me and sending my to
this beautiful country, and Rotary International for making this
experience possible!
I hope that many more Rotary clubs will join
the youth exchange program so that more students may have the
opportunity to experience what I get to everyday this year!
