Tree Grove Opening

Arbor Day Society representatives, along with Swan City Rotarians, Rotary House representatives and a representative from GP Smoky MLA, Mel Knight's, office were on hand Wednesday, July 27, 2011 for the unveiling of the Society's current Arbor Day Grove project. 

Society Chair, Bob Normandeau, provided a brief history of the Society with additional remarks from the Swan City Club, Rotary House and Mel Knight's representative.  Guests later joined Swan City Rotary at their regular meeting and a presentation was made about Arbor Day, the Society and several plaque presentations were made to local businesses and organizations that have made Arbor Day projects successful.
