Thank You from an Adventures in Firefighting Participant

I’d like to thank the Rotary Club for putting up such a great opportunity to go to a camp that normally would have cost a lot of money and making it entirely possible to get in for free. I had an amazing time and met some great people. The instructors were great and taught the course very well giving us lots of practical experience and book knowledge as well! It was an awesome experience as the instructors timed us on getting our bunker gear on as well as made us pack a scott pack for a walk just to get used to wearing them. We also were able to go into a smoke house in full gear and do a full search in a completely dark smoke filled house. All in all it was a great learning curve and is a beneficial camp if you one day dream of being a fire fighter. It is a great way to be introduced to that type of world. So once again I would like to thank the Rotary Club for giving us the experience of a lifetime. It is one I will never forget! Thank you!   Alex La Rochelle
