On Wednesday we toured schools and had lunch at the Aquario

First on the agenda was school tours to a couple of schools, the first being built out of tar paper and pallets with desks in the dirt, but the kids where happy. Next a tour of a small elementary school, with a grade two girl that could speak English, Spanish and Italian, and interpreted for the group. Then finally to a secondary school that had 9 computers for 42 pupil classes. Also they had their TV and VCR stolen. Off to the Padras (kind of like PARDS) for a quick tour and check on previous donations. Then to the Aquarium for a tour, sea lion show and lunch. Many kids being transported by our previously donated buses, and all are in great shape. Supper hosted by the mayor and his wife.
