Our day started off with breakfast hosted by the Rotaract Club in a near-by hotel.

There we met a lot of the Rotarians that are involved with the Hiway to Mexico project. Next we were driven by our hosts to the TV station that had filmed our vehicles the day before. Our spokespeople were able to be interviewed live on a morning talk show, which we understand is a rare occurence. The segment was 10 - 15 minutes long and included clips of the filming from the previous day. We were impressed with the coverage. We had recognition plaques for the reporters and the TV station. We then went to 3 newspapers who also were the recipients of recognition plaques and who toured us around their facilities. We had a group photo taken at the last newspaper (El Sol) and it made it to the front page of Tuesday's edition. We seem to be getting more press coverage than in past years. Monday night was another free evening, but most of us retired early as we had to get up early on Tuesday morning.
