Early rising on this day too and we were off through the mountain passes at 0730 hrs. This day was very uneventful compared to the last 2 days; just lots of stopping for fuel and food. Even Ray didn`t cause any problems today. We encountered some snow conditions and some fog on the route, but nothing that a northern Albertan can't handle.

The scenery was interesting on this portion of the trip as we proceeded on to Pocatello, then Salt Lake City (lots of traffic, whew!) and through 2 more mountain passes to end our day in Beaver, Utah. We arrived by 1830 hrs, so this day was only 11 hours and we felt pretty good about that. We received a call from our Lethbridge crew that they had left at 1800 hrs and planned on driving straight through to Salt Lake City by the morning and possibly catching up to us sometime on Wednesday. We had a nice supper and were able to wash some of the vehicles this evening before retiring.
