Hilgers Names Assistant Governor

Past President (Rotary Club of Grande Prairie) Kevin Hilgers will be stepping into the role of Assistant Governor effective July 1, 2009.  Incoming District Governor Terry Drader made it official.  The role of the AG is to represent the District when needed, to advise when and where needed, and - like the District itself - assist clubs to attain their goals.  The local AG covers the Grande Prairie clubs, (Including Rotaract, Interact) and Grande Cache. Generally the role is a 3 year term.   There are 13 AG's in District 5370, which stretches from Yellowknife to Wetaskiwin,  North Battleford to Ft Nelson, and points in between.  There are about 60 clubs in the district - with 2500 members.    Submitted by Joanne Ballance, Rotary Club of Grande Prairie
