Only a 30 minute wait at the Sweetgrass US border for all to clear, Henry and Fred’s truck had a short wait while the bond and Henry and Fred were investigated. We enjoyed a great break and lunch in Great Falls. Harm and Percy, who are driving the tanker truck, found a leak so they had to pull all resources together to find something to use as a vent for the differential. The final fix it packa...ge included: marrette, paper towel, electrical tape and the all mighty duck tape, and yes Rotarians are resourceful….plus McIver (aka Rick) was on hand.

All vehicles did well thru the Missouri River Canyon, the view was amazing! Truly, the view throughout the day was terrific……sun, warm weather, clear roads and light traffic.

It is great to have the Edson “red fire truck” as part of this year’s team. The 1990 unit came from City of Vancouver last April and very little repairs were needed. Drivers for 2012 are Murray Heinrich and Vivian Williams, members of the Edson Rotary Club, advise it is an easy ride. This Club has 25 members and have participated in 7 trips and look forward to many more!

Tonight we are resting our heads in Dillon, Montana then tomorrow we are on route to Beaver Utah, I hear we need to shop for supplies before arriving.ImageImageImage
