Highway to Mexico, Day 1

Great start, thank you to those who joined us this morning for our sendoff. Once the trucks got on the road, it has been clear sailing. The Edson team joined us outside of Edmonton. Allan Kuechle, our fearless guide, is leading the convoy in the ambulance with the school bus right behind, followed by the 3 fire trucks and tanker truck all in order of color. Other than the high gas bills, the vehicles run great! Weather and roads are perfect. We did discuss using the sirens and lights as we crawled along the DeerFoot during Friday afternoon rush hour. Tonight we rest our heads in Lethbridge and plan for another early start on Saturday. Thanks to all for the wonderful wishes!
