Happy New Year!

Hi everyone:

I hope everyone had a relaxing and joyful Christmas Season and a good slide into 2012. The New Year will bring some exciting speakers to our meetings, starting with John Simpson with an update on the new Multiplex facility in the County.

I look forward to my second half as your President and assure all of you that I will keep my travel schedule to a minimum of absences. This year will be another busy one for our board of Directors and Committee Chairs. The 2012 District Conference will be a highlight for all Grande Prairie Rotarians and we hope to see as many of you at the event as possible. Please make sure to visit the Conference website at www.kevsconference.com/ and have a look or register. In the upcoming months many of you will be asked to volunteer during the conference and we will keep you posted as the year goes on.

My thanks go to our board members for all their work and commitment to our club and to Naomi that keeps it all together for us and a big thank you to all our members for all the work, volunteerism and commitment that you provide during the entire year.
