Mix 6 Teams with 6 Carts, blend in a number of sponsors, add a List of Groceries and a local Grocery Store and you get more than $2,600 in items for the Salvation Army Food Bank!

Thank you to Northside IGA, 104.7 Free FM, 96.3 Shine FM, Q99, Rock 97.7, Daily Herald Tribune, Louis Chabot, Ken O'Shea and all of the Interact Members from Peace Wapiti Academy and Sexsmith Secondary for their participation in this year's Media Scramble on September 8, 2011.  The event was held as a kick off to the Foodbank Drive happening on Tuesday, September 15, 2011 and pitted media personnel and their Interactors teams in a shopping challenge.  Teams were given grocery lists, 2 minutes to scout the store and then set off to gather all of the items on the list in the quickest and most accurate way possible.

In the end the real winner was the Salvation Army Food Bank - with over $2600 worth of items being gathered and hauled off to their building.  What an awesome start to this year's Food Bank!

Get involved - contact Ken O'Shea to sign up to canvass next Tuesday starting at 5:00pm - D-Coy Armouries. Everyone is welcome!
