Chris Andersen receives prestigious award from GPRC

 

GPRC has awarded SCRC member Chris Andersen their highest tribute - the 2015 Board of Governor's Award of Distinction.  The award has been established to honour individuals whose actions have made exceptional contributions to our community and to the advancement of higher education.

 

GPRC noted that Chris "established the ANSO Foundation which supports students and schools in Ethiopia, providing books for school libraries.  One project is a university library, fully stocked with books provided by ANSO and Swan City Rotary.  Chris is a member of the Swan City Rotary Club, and is also very involved in the work they are doing in Ethiopia."
