Dr. Elise Hepworth is Director of Choral Activities and Music Education at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri, and also serves as Artistic Director of the Saint Joseph Community Chorus.  Elise comes to district 6040 from district 5650 in Nebraska, where she served as the Wayne Rotary Club president for two consecutive terms, receiving Outstanding Club President in District 5650 in 2012.  She was an Ambassadorial Scholar to Wellington, New Zealand in 2007, and served as Group Study Exchange Team Leader to Northeast Brazil (4390) in 2013.  She is a Paul Harris Fellow (plus one), serves as faculty advisor for the Missouri Western State University Rotaract Club, chartered in March of 2015, and will be serving as the Saint Joseph Downtown Rotary Club's president in 2017.  She is currently District 6040's Youth Services Coordinator, focusing on building and strengthening youth programs in our district.  Elise lives in Saint Joseph with her husband (fellow Rotarian), Matt and their two cats– Abby and Alex.
