Please welcome our inbound exchange student for this year, Hannah Weilguny from Austria.  Hannah arrived at the Redding Airport last Thursday night and was welcomed by her host parents, Richard and Cheryl Wright and Rotarians Don Brooks, Chad Thompson and his family and Denise Yergenson and her son, Dane.

Hannah is from Amstetten, Lower Austria and is 16 years old.  She will be attending Shasta High School and enjoys learning English and biology and plays volleyball.  In her free time she enjoys swimming in a creek near her home, relaxing with her friends, sports, reading, movies and travelling and spending time with her family.  Her parents are Reinhard and Brigitte and she has a 19 year old brother, Jakob and a 13 year old sister, Magdalena.  She also has a dog, a cat and two guinea pigs.

In the future she hopes to become an English interpreter and hopes that this exchange program helps her accomplish that goal.  To read more about Hannah and a letter from her parents, please refer to the download section of the webpage where both letters have been added.  PHOTOS TOO!

Let's all give Hannah a big welcome when you meet her and please include her in your family events, Rotary events and make her year here great!
