Team Point Update
Dearest subjects of the RER Realm:
We are down to the FINAL 5 WEEKS of our Team Points Contest! Remember The RI (Royal Intent) of this game:
1) To motivate maximum involvement in RER activities this year (as befits having your "Biggest Cheerleader" as your current sovereign);
2) To reward such involvement, in recognition for the effort it takes to make Rotary a priority in your already busy lives;
3) To allow us to more accurately reflect the tremendous amount of work and fellowship that happens in our club in a single year.
And, of course, a bonus is the money we should save by having a large portion of the demotion be "pot luck", courtesy of our 3 lagging but (surely) good-spirited teams.
To give those teams ample notice for such Demotion (FOOD) fun and frolic, this POINTS CONTEST will officially CLOSE as of June 6, 2010. This will allow me to capture the points earned by the Sovereign Serfs of Sober Graduation on June 3rd.
YOUR TASK - By Royal Decree - is to help make the attached synopsis as accurate as possible. All you have to do is:
1) Open the attachment
2) Find your team (in order) and then your name (by alpha).
3) Review the points you've been credited to make sure Queen B heard of all your exploits on behalf of the kingdom!
4) EMAIL me with any activities you participated in that did not get reflected on the attached....so I can give you your just rewards this final month of the Contest. Remember, activities the final half of the year earned more points than the first half - and the points (mostly) reflected the amount of time/effort involved. I am CERTAIN no one would challenge the fairness of your Fair Queen in this endeavor, eh?!?!! :)
OF SPECIAL NOTE -- only 625 points separate the 3 teams in 6th, 7th, and 8th place........AND we've got a new team "safe" in 6th place...SO FAR !!!!
