The following recognitions were made at the January 28, 2009 meeting.
Terry Quibell was fined $25 by Past President Charlie Clinkenbeard for a really bad dog joke!

Motorhome Mechanic and Bank Mogel Mike Wells was fined $100 for his visits to 15 golf courses in Palm Springs and Phoenix.  He tried to get a little pitty by claiming to be a motor home plumbing expert and needing a new job.  A little tidbit he passed on was golfnow.com, which apparently has discounted tee times!

When your the Best in the North State you will pay.  Chad Thompson was fined $100 for his businesses recent win in the Record Searchlight's Best in the North State feature.  Seems that the second and third place counter top businesses (Lowes and Home Depot) actually sub-contract with Chad, so he pretty much swept the category!  Congratulations.

Jay McClarey, Home Care, who moonlights in the Marshal's office, was fined $100 for missing last week's meeting about adult home care!  Shame on him.  He claimed he was doing some Marshalling stuff he couldn't get out of!

Steve Hagenbaugh confessed that his bank, North Valley Bank also won the Best in the North State FOR THE THIRD YEAR!  He donated $100 to his wife's Paul Harris.  The Motorhome Mechanic/Bank Mogel, Mike Wells was also fined for his part in the bank and he donated $100 to his Paul Harris.  Since everyone was confessing, Tom Price ponied up $100 to his Paul Harris because his wife Kim works for the bank as well.  Speaking of Kim, Tom should have paid more since she came to the Winterfest without him!  Seems he was fishing or something.
