Don Selke "presided" over the bulk of the meeting, with various past presidents filling in the hosting duties. Steve Hagenbaugh and Jim Salini did a fabulous slide show (thanks to Chris Haedrich for producing).  They showed photos of each member who joined RER in the 2000s...and where people had no formal photo available our hosts took the liberty of substituting another "appropriate" photo. Randall Hempling as Rambo was certainly a highlight. If nothing else, the program should encourage ALL of those members to make sure RER has a real photo for our directory!

Each president discussed the highlights of their year at the helm....except that Jim and Steve were smart enough to refuse to give Queen Bev the microphone, for fear they'd never get it back. Hearty laughter followed their "proof" that our rubber ducky logo for the DD bears an uncanny resemblance to our sitting Quack.....I mean ..Queen   .........plus their photo "evidence" that Governor Schwarzenegger came to RER during Bob Salyer's year to perfect his impression of Steve Pitman!  Salini and Hagenbaugh also made sure to acknowledge all past presidents who are still "Active" members of RER, including Queen B who was labeled as "Over-Active".

The game was a blast from the past -- a dice game -- where Howard Taylor won $9 before Jim Feider showed him how the game was really played and won the rest of the pot. The pot was sweetened by $2/ea. contributions from everyone who was not wearing a Rotary pin at the meeting....which (SADLY!) collected $66! The gift (Trader Joe's gift card) was donated by Don Selke and won by Chad Thompson. The Top Ducks, Team 3, gave an extra gift of wine which was won by Jim Murphy.
