Today's meeting was brought to RER by the Pole Dancers.

Queen Bev now asking club members to "Rat Each Other Out!"  Not sure that fits the four-way test, but oh well.  So if you know something "recognizable" tell the queen.

On that note, Myron ratted out Tom Price.  Apparently Tom has a new truck.

The Queen thanked Steve Hagenbaugh and Jim Salini for their works (for months) on our monthly celebrations of 40 years of RER.  What an awesome job!

Be sure and e-mail Debbie Roche on Friday and wish her a HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY!

Keith Ritter is looking a few able bodied demoters to help with the de-throning of the Queen.  If you can help, give Keith a call. Don't let idle threats from her majesty scare you.

Charlie Menoher announced that there are 17 items available for the live auction during the 40th Anniversary Party and Scholarship Auction.  One is a condo in Hawaii, donated by Dr. Mihalka.

Steve "The Party Guy" announced that there are VERY FEW spots left for the 40th Anniversary Dinner.  Remember that guests of Rotarians and Rotarian are at a reduced cost of $20 each.  The Pub Crawl Kings bought 10 tickets at the meeting.  He also mentioned that there is one very unique item on the silent auction list.  A Rotary book autographed by Paul Harris and donated by Jim Salini. This is one of only 2 of these books left in the world.  The items will start at $250.

The Smoke Detector project is moving right along.  Retired Rotarian Jerry Peters need three team leaders for the project.  Team Leaders should have their own tools and some knowledge of installation of smoke detectors.

RECOGNITIONS:  Randall Hempling look beautiful in his photo in the Record Searchlight, sporting panty hose and high heals.  Randall participated in the Women's Refuge "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event and his team earned over $2,000.  He said he was doing his best East German Woman impersonation with the stalkings and not shaving his legs.  He paid $97.86 for that new look.

Keith Ritter, Jim Cloney and Marge Beck took full advantage of Spring Break last week and did not attend the regular meeting.  Seems Marge was in Hawaii viewing a 3-D image of her new grandchild; Jim was on a cruise with his wife and four teenage sons (maybe we should pay him) and Keith was in Utah with his bride.  They all paid dearly.  Marge was fined $137.20, which Les Melburg paid because she wrote a wonderful letter to the editor defending Les' honor.  Keith paid $73.70 his five-day getaway and Jim paid $141.40 his cruise to Mexico.

Andy Main fessed up that he took his daughter to San Francisco to see the play "Wicked" and hang out for two days.  He paid $22.22.

Tom Price, who was ratted on by Myron Tisdel, paid $73.71 for his huge, new, red, GMC truck.

Dr. Annie Purcell was given her new member badge.

POINTS.See the Points Totals in the download section, but here's a quick recap.  The Party Train remains in 1st place with the Ducks not far behind.  The bottom three teams are currently the Ten Amigos, the Super 7 Superstars and the Pole Dancers.

The Wheel of Rotary was spun by our new member, Annie Purcell and she won $20.

Today's presentation was by Ken Wood of Upstate Hearing Instruments.  Very interesting and eye opening to all of us aging Rotarians!  What?  Maybe we should have Ken return and do hearing tests?

The universal gift was won by the Les Melburg, who provided the universal gift!
