Thought for the Day:
”You have to love a nation that celebrates every July 4th, not with a parade of guns, tanks and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets ‘iffy’ and the flies die from happiness.  You may think you have overeaten, but it patriotism”.  Erma Bombeck.

Good News Comments:
Jim Hardy announced that his daughter, Kristina, just had their first child.  Jim also announced that he had just returned from Peru and visited Machu Pichu.

Curtis Chen just returned from a two week trip to Taiwan where they celebrated the 50th Anniversary of his parents. He and his family also spent 5 days backpacking, summiting a 12,000+ foot peak!

And speaking of anniversaries, yours truly announced that his son, Brad and daughter, Katie, surprised Diana and I with a dinner at Tokies.  There were around 50 of our friends and relatives who shouted, “Surprise”, when we entered the restaurant.  Thanks, Brad and Katie!
