Open Arms Service Project

 

Volunteers meet at Open Arms for a brief orientation and food safety overview prior to their shift. Then the group members get aprons and hairnets on and wash up for the kitchen. We provide all essential kitchen tools and raw materials. Kitchen tasks typically include, but aren’t limited to chopping vegetables, packaging savory soups, scooping cookie dough and assembling meals in our state-of-the-art kitchen. Our chefs will be on hand to support the experience.
