Woman's Suffrage History & Minnesota's Role

In May 1919, the Suffrage Committee proposed the House resolution to approve the Susan Anthony Amendment, granting women the right to vote. It took until August 1920 to officially receive enough state votes to become law. This presentation will explore women’s suffrage history and Minnesota’s important role in early suffrage history, as well as voting.
