Pres. Nick, PP Leslie Arnal, Steve Delikat and PP Lynette Andersen represented the Rotary Club of North Sacramento at the “Summer Reception” at Enotria on July 27. It was hosted jointly by the Del Paso Boulevard Partnership, the North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of North Sacramento. This was a good opportunity to meet business owners in the area and invite them to become members -- remember, one of our goals in moving our meetings to Mama Kim’s was to be more accessible to local business people. We met a couple of prospects.
Pres. Nick was given the chance to talk about the Rotary club and he highlighted some of the projects we have completed in the area over the years. Councilmember Allen Warren also talked about attracting more businesses, and fielded questions, most notably about parking issues. We’re expecting a grocery store and a craft brewery in the near future.
