The year does go by so quickly, but here are some highlights of this year by quarter.
July-Sept  
Club 32 joined the other clubs in town to start a new Happy Hour Club that meets in the evenings.
We had a "Wake up with Rotary" breakfast meeting at Meierhoffers with a great presentation from Mike Meierhoffer.
We had a record campaign for Pars for Polio this year-our Rotary Golfers Dr. Tim Curry and Louie DeLeon -over $6000 was raised.
Great Programs-HS Football Coaches, Catfish Chasers, Coach Sundance Wicks, St Joseph Swarm Chasers, and the new SJSD Superintendent.
We had several small service projects-UW Stuff the bus, Sal Army School supplies distribution, and 9/11 Thank you card project.
Oct-Dec
Our District Governor Julie McCoy attending our Rotary on Bosses Day.
Our Annual Student Government Day at City Hall welcomed over 100 Students and they had a mock City Council meeting.
The District Conference and Foundation Dinner was attended by several Rotarians at Harrahs Casino.
Our 107th Birthday Party honoring Veterans was a great success-over 60 people attended, several Veterans, and Melissa Chestnut from Warriors Best Friend was our Speaker.
Our Holiday Luncheon included Christmas music from local musicians
Great Programs-Col John Cluck, Judges Forum, and our Annual meeting with election of officers.
Jan-Mar
We submitted a local Teacher for Teacher of the Year and did our part in the District's Reach out and Read Challenge.
Kicked off our Shoes campaign and signed up a student for RYLA.
Received the Missouri Arbor Award of Excellence from the Missouri Forestry Council for our Trees project last year.
We completed our District Grant Service Day by keeping our commitment to helping children with Trauma.
We welcomed the GSE team for Australia and had a BBQ with the other local Clubs at Pony Express Museum.
Great Programs-Mayor McMurray, CEO of Chamber Patt Lily, DOT I229 Project, Yellow Frog Graphics, and Noyes Home.
Apr-June
Our Annual Scholarship Luncheon with Student Recipients Awards was held in May.
District Assembly was in Cameron in April, we collected over 200 pairs of shoes again.
We submitted our proposal for next year's district grant and installed our new officers for the 2019-2020 year.
