Thank you!!!!

Wow!  What generosity we have seen from the members and friends of Club 32!  In the past two months you all have contributed more than $9,000 between Pars for Polio and the matching fund for our district grant.  That represents an increase of more than $500 over last year which was already outstanding!

As Rotarians we are committed to serving our community and the world.   Your support of RI’s effort to eradicate Polio from the planet is awesome!  Your support of the Trauma project which helps school children In St. Joseph is incredible!

In this season of Thanks I want to say THANK YOU for all you are doing through Rotary for St. Joe and for the world!  Your efforts and contributions truly make a difference!  Remember the $5,000 raised for Pars for Polio is really $16,200 thanks to the Gates Foundation Match!

I will be away this Tuesday visiting Peggy and preparing to cook on Thursday.  My thanks to Staci for filling in!  I wish you all a peaceful, restful, family-filled Thanksgiving!

 

            Once again I want to thank Joan Hickman, Mary Cornett, Barbara LaBass, and Pam Wall for all their hard work on the Birthday party!  What a great event!  I also thank John Hickman for a great job of being or Master of Ceremonies for the night.  (I am still waiting for my 4 of diamonds to be called!)  Thank you to all of you!!!

 

Club 32 will hold an annual meeting on December 12, 2017.  There are a few important items to consider (all of which you will receive in advance).  Watch your email over the next two weeks for the revised Constitutions and By-Laws, the nominating committee’s slate for 2018-2019, and our membership drive!

Happy Holidays celebration: 

December 19^th will be our Holiday luncheon.  Please plan to bring your favorite guest to join us.  Becky Boerkircher is arranging the party and I hear she is really good at it!
