What an honor it was to have our District Governor Julie McCoy at our meeting this week.  She gave a great program about finding your passion in Rotary and showing things that she has done in her Rotary journey.  It was great to have her present our newest RLI graduates Dave and Mary Beth their certificates.
We have some great things to celebrate this week-we just found out we are 1 of 13 clubs in the district that received the Presidential Citation for 17-18.  Past President Mike Lane sent an email of congratulations to the club for this achievement.
We also have a new Play for Polio total-$4021!  Closer to our $5000 goal.
Julie told us that we have had the most Rotarians attend RLI in our district, we hope to continue that tradition and send a couple more in the spring.
Sara announced that next year we are looking to do a Global Grant and District Grant with the other 2 clubs in St Joseph-this is a wonderful announcement and we hope to make another major impact dealing with trauma and students.

We had 4 guests this week-Erik-Eastside, Tim-Raytown, Seana and Wes (Tim's Guests)
Next week-we are at City Hall for lunch and the day at our 25th annual Student Govt day.
