Presidents Cross-Over Meeting July 2, 2014
A great start to the 2014-2015 Edmonton South year.
Well the 2014-2015 Rotary Year has started and what a first meeting it was! I pinned the Past-President pin on John Mazanek and presented him with a Gavel-Plaque for his service to our club.
In Sydney at the RI convention I picked up a Tie for myself and a Scarf for President-Elect Delores Knudsen with RI President Gary Haung's theme - "Light Up Rotary", a call to let the world know about the good work Rotarian's around the world are doing and continue to do.
Don Gardner presented Dennis Merrell with a new Paul Harris pin with updated sapphires for his continued support of the PH Foundation.
Al Pierog and Thomas Palakkamanil received pins for introducing new members Dave Morris and Suresh Agarwal to Rotary.
Graham Mclean then read the Charge for new member Peter Bognar and the club all officially welcomed him to Edmonton South.
