At yesterday's meeting, Max Mills, activities director for Riverton High, talked to us all about the various tournaments the school sponsors, their impact on developing young athletes, and the impact on our local economy. And he asked for our help, as well as help from other local service clubs, to make these events successful for our community.
The most immediate need is for judges for the upcoming January 16/17 weekend's Speech & Debate event (they need 70), followed by Ron-Thon, the 2AWest Basketball tournament and others.

One of the great highlights of our club program schedule is when the speech and debate team comes to our meeting. They are so entertaining. Watch them, and others from around the state, do their magic at this upcoming weekend's event (Friday, 16th 3pm - 9pm, volunteer in 1.5 hour increments, and Saturday, 17, 8:30am - 7pm in increments).
