One of the great highlights of our club program schedule is when the speech and debate team comes to our meeting. They are so entertaining. Watch them, and others from around the state, do their magic at this upcoming weekend's event (Friday, 16th 3pm - 9pm, volunteer in 1.5 hour increments, and Saturday, 17, 8:30am - 7pm in increments). THIS Coming Meeting, we'll be considering recipients for Q3 50/50 funds. We've given to a lot of great projects in the past, and have requests from new initiatives. You'll see them listed here in the blue boxes. You'll also note some projects crossed out - the International project from last quarter (Uganda) appreciated our fundraising, but has since closed the books for the year, so those funds are available for another initiative. Also, the club intended to donate to ShelterBox last year, but those funds mistakenly were not award, so we may want to revisit.
We've also had new requests for service help. You'll find those requests, as well as our recent past activities (past 18 months) in orange.
Come to this next week's meeting with your best ideas.

$10 is all it takes to help sponsor the education of a young woman (Alva G.) in Guatemala when you buy a Yuda band. Alva strives to start 8th grade with our sponsorship support. Purchase bands at our weekly meetings.
