If you didn’t do what you do for a living, what would you be? A musician or a psychologist (not sure if I could make a living at it though).

Who would play you in the movie of your life story? That's easy, "Willem Dafoe"

Why did you join Rotary and what keeps you in Rotary? I was new to the city and wanted to meet a community that cares. I wanted to meet both the members and speakers who played such a key role in the life of Edmonton.  What keeps me in Rotary are long time friends that I have made, the values that Rotary espouses, the camaraderie and the altruistic service performed by the club.

What is your favorite Edmonton landmark? My favourite Edmonton landmark is the University of Alberta.  It not only is my vocational home, but its broad and diverse settings provide fantastic resources.

What's the best thing about Edmonton? The best thing is the 'can do' attitude and the tremendous resources in all spheres.

What do you sing when no one else is listening? What you mean, they aren't listening to me when I sing?

What’s playing in your iPod or CD player right now?  Its not playing right now, but I'm enjoying the music of Bernward Koch.

What’s the one gadget you can’t live without? My I pad, no make that my I-phone.  No wait, my Apple computer.

What’s your favorite restaurant? Tough question, probably any good sushi restaurant.

What is your culinary specialty? I am really good at preparing breakfast as long as it is an orange, cereal with a banana, and coffee.  As a matter of fact, I was once in the paper as a "celebrity chef" and I was demonstrating how I prepared breakfast (true story!).  My kids thought that this was truly sad that it was such a slow news day that they published it.

What's your favorite vacation spot? Club Med

What's your proudest moment? I can't really say that there is one proudest moment.  I guess those times when I have shared achievements with friends, colleagues, and my family.

What is at the top of your to-do list? To get through these questions!  Bet, you won't get too many responses like that.

What is your favorite animal? A dog

What is your guilty pleasure? 5th amendment

What is your secret talent? If I told you, then it would no longer be a secret, would it?  Actually, I have so few talents, that those I have I try not to make secret.

What are your words to live by?
Look to this day
for it is life
the very life of life.

In its brief course lie all
the realities and truths of existence
the joy of growth
the splendor of action
the glory of power.

For yesterday is but a memory
And tomorrow is only a vision.
But today well lived
makes every yesterday a memory
of happiness
and every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore, to this day....
