Tim Onciul is a born and bred Edmontonian, having grown up on the west end. A Ross Sheppard High grad, Tim went on to graduate from the University of Alberta, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1986. Not wanting to wear a tie for a living, he first tried his hand at being a vagabond musician, playing in the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for 10 years and in various freelance musical groups. However, after experiencing the true economics behind being a musician, he changed courses and entered finance and accounting, obtaining his Certified Management Accountant designation. Since then he has spent 8 years in the forestry business (6 of which he lived in Whitecourt, AB), 5 years in manufacturing, and the past 3 years working as the CFO for DRIVING FORCE. Tim has spent time volunteering for the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the Terry Fox Foundation, the Tourette Syndrome Foundation, and various other community groups. Tim entered Rotary to give back to a community that has given him a great life.

Tim is married to Dalene, and their lives are full keeping up with their two sons Braeden (12) and Tanner (11), with hockey, biking and camping fill their days. Tim looks forwards to a long and eventful time as a member of the Mayfield Rotary Club.
