A Charter Member of our Rotary Club, Ted holds the Classification of "Senior Active". He is a Past President, having served as President of our Club in 1987/88. 

Ted is the President & CEO of Cosmos Distribution & Logistics Ltd., doing business as Western Moving & Storage (agent for Allied Van Lines) and Majestic Moving Services (agent for North American Van Lines). He represents the third generation of LeLacheur's in the moving and storage business.

 

 

Ted, a born and raised Edmontonian, is actively involved in his community.  He has been involved in numerous projects, and sits on several community boards.  His volunteer activities have included Northern Alberta Transportation Club, Yellowhead Highway Association, and St. Matthews Anglican Church in St. Albert, AB. In 1988, the Rotary Club of Edmonton-Mayfield awarded Ted the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for his dedication. In 1997, Ted chaired the committee that organized the Partners North Conference.  Ted played an instrumental role on the organizing committee for the Grey Cups held in Edmonton in 1997 and 2002. Additionally, he has chaired the NorQuestor College Steering Committee for the last four years. In 2001, Ted chaired the Canadian Allied Van Lines Agents Committee for a three-year term.  In 2004, Ted chaired the Fundraising Committee on behalf of the City of Edmonton that raised $3.7M from corporations for the revitalization of Sir Winston Churchill Square.

 

Ted is a past Director of the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club, and a Past President of the Board of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce/World Trade Center.  His current activities include Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Club and Edmonton Executives Association.

 

He is married to Carol since 1977, and they have one son, Sean.  Ted is an avid Edmonton Eskimo ticket holder.  For their recreational activities, Ted and his family have a cabin at Pigeon Lake, AB
