Meet President Mike Mack!!!!
Mike was born in Saskatchewan, and is the youngest of six kids.
He originates from a farming community and learned the value of hard work.
In 1985, Mike married his High School sweetheart, Sheila, and they have two children. Jessica is 15, and Nick is 14. Mike and his family reside in
Mike's career started in Saskatchewan with CIBC, where he spent 15 years in the banking industry, transferring from Regina, Yorkton, Moose Jaw, to Prince George, B.C., and then to Edmonton in 1998.
In 2000, Mike left CIBC and joined Foresters (Insurance and Investments Company), where he built a new Regional Office, from the ground up. He enjoyed good success at Foresters, and in 2002, led the Top office in
In 2002, Mike completed his MBA with
Mike has been an active Toastmaster for over two years, with the Dawnbreakers Clubs, and obtained his Competent Toastmasters designation in 2004.
In August 2005, Mike joined the Canadian Diabetes Association as the Area Executive Director-Prairies. He is responsible for all business aspects of the Association. There are 5 Regions within the Prairies Area of the Canadian Diabetes Association, with offices in
Mike's office is in Edmonton.
As a member of the Senior Management team, he supports the mission and vision of the Association by providing strategic direction, establishing outcomes, and relationship development with corporate and government partners.
