Members present were: Ursula Buller, Frank Bell, Harold Witte, Ted Lelacheur, Jess Morrill, Maureen Liviniuk, John Nypuik, Arif Alibhai, Derek Jay, Lorne Wight, Linda Pincock and 

Bill Lywood.

Speaker was Soloman Rolingher, Q C from law firm Duncan and Craig

Guests were: Mauo Tao  from Ottawa Rotary Club

Birthdays and Anniversaries: John Nypuik reported that Janet Lywood had a Birthday on August 9th.

Maureen made a request for 2 members to audit the books of "The Charitable Society"  Bill Lywood and Jim Logan volunteered and the audit was completed after the meeting.

Arif gave a report on the secondary schools in Uganda. He also visited a number of Rotary Club there.

50/50 Draw: Bill Lywood had the ticket number and drew a 7.

Ted was Sargeant of Arms.. finded Ursula $2 for coming in late. He did a fine job of fining members.

Ursula introduced our guest speaker Soloman J. Rolingher, Q.C. Soloman was born in Montreal and is with law firm Duncan and Craig. He has a HUGE list of accomplishments.

Soloman is in charge of the Wellspring Edmonton. It is situated at 65 Ave and 113 Street. The facility will open end of August, 2016.

It is a post cancer treatment centre and is free of charge for people who were treated for cancer to stay there.

The Wellspring Edmonton Centre is a 12,000 square foot, community based centre has been designed to accommodate a range of programs and resources in a warm, supportative 

environment.
