What is Leads with Seeds?
Lead with Seeds is registered as a non-profit society in Honduras. In partnership with the Municipality of Santa Rita, The District School Division, the Department of Forestry and the Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Club, Leads with Seeds is working towards providing education for youth and adults in rural Honduras that focuses on schooling and sustainable agroforestry practices.
How can YOU support Leads with Seeds:
1) Buy a meal for 2
Celebrate the holiday season with a specially prepared meal for two inspired by our French Canadian friends. This will be 'home cooked' for your freezer, ready for you to enjoy at your leisure. You will receive a hearty Pea Soup, delicious Tourtiere, and a mouth-watering dessert, all for $75. As an add-on, you can receive the same kit plus a bottle of wine selected by Bin 104 for $100. Just email Diane at diane.ediger@gmail.com and you can place your order, arrange payment and time of delivery.
2) Donate directly to Leeds with Seeds
A. Donate with your credit card through ATB Cares Website: go to ATBcares.com/donate/; click 'donate now’: scroll down to 'find a cause’; enter 'lead with seeds’; click on 'search’, which will identify 'Lead with Seeds - Honduras by Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Charitable Society’ - click on that, and 'donate now'.
B. Make a Cheque payable to Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Charitable Society, and write 'Lead with Seeds' in the memo field. Send this cheque to M. Ediger, 10917 80 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G0P9. We will deliver these to our friends at Rotary for processing and they will issue your tax receipt.
And finally, there is a special discount offered by Bin 104 if you donate!
· For donations up to $350 - you will receive a 15% off coupon for anything in the store
· For donations from $375 to $500 - you will receive a 20% off coupon
· For donations of $525 or more - you will receive a 25% off coupon.
To claim your coupon, just email Janet at jlranderson@gmail.com and let her know how much you donated (we don't always know this). Janet will advise Bin 104 of the % discount you are entitled to. All you have to do is identify yourself at Bin 104 and mention Lead with Seeds and the discount will be applied to your total purchase. The coupon is valid from November 15 to 30, 2021 and the store is located at 5454 Calgary Trail NW in Edmonton.
