February is Rotary Peace and Conflict Resolution Month. In our club, we support this area of focus in several ways. In 2018, we sponsored a ‘Young Maraneo Peace Advocates Camp’ in the Philippines. This camp was organized by the youth in the area to bring together young people from various tribes to build trust and understanding and to foster future peace. In 2022, along with the Rotary community, we contributed to The Rotary Foundation – Peace Initiatives to support our brothers and sisters from Ukraine cope with the travesty of war.
