Highlighted Vocational Services Month:

·        Invited Adventures Program, RYLA and RYPEN Students and Teacher from Jasper High School to speak on Wednesday, Oct 26, 2005.

·        Also had Tom Gerald and Tammy speak about our partnership with Alberta Association for Community Living.

 

2.   Increased Participation in RYLA & RYPEN from 4 Students to 8 Students.

 

3.   Sending Students to Adventures Programs for 2005-2006:

þ      Adventures in Technology

þ      Adventures in Firefighting

 

4.   Received commitment from Jasper High School for Interact Club. Partnering with Sunrise Club to launch the Interact Club By May 15th, 2006. Meeting with Shelley Fenton on May 2, 2006 to organize Interact Club for Jasper High School.

 

5.   The email Pen-pal program (Adult Literacy Language Training) was successful with 22 Rotarians partnered with 22 Students at Norquest College.

Thank Lindy Rondeau for co-ordinating the program this year.

 

6.   Integrity Awards:  Scheduled for May 4th, 2006.

Thank you Gord Yakemchuk for co-ordinating the program for our Club.

 

7.   Reduced Budget from $12,000 to $8,200 with higher participation of Students in 2006 (from 6 to 10 Students).
