RYPEN is for youth in Grades 10 – 12 who are in search of a positive identity. They are not normally recognized for their academic performance, or for their disruptive behavior. RYPEN is an intensive weekend of self discovery, through seminars, speakers and physical activities, focused on helping young people develop their self-confidence, self-motivation and goal setting skills. Participants will be provided with the tools and practice to take what they learn at camp and apply it to situations that relate to real life. Our objective is to produce, happy, productive young people who are positive role models to their peers in their community.

Every year, the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield sends students to participate in the annual RYPEN camp.
