Community Services and Club Services organized a Nosh ‘n Serve tonight to assemble gift bags for family members of critically ill patients who will be spending Christmas visiting loved ones in the hospital. Many of these families are from out of town and are unexpectedly spending Christmas in the ICU of the Royal Alex. Patients may have been involved in an accident, have serious health complication, or other trauma.

The "comfort bags" included a blanket, socks, snacks, water bottle and activity books. Cards of encouragement were also included.  The 25 bags will be delivered to the ICU on December 19th.

Thank you to the organizing committee (Merle, Alyson and Petra) for making this happen and for helping bring cheer to our community neighbours. And to Robert for the location for assembly!
