How We Fundraise

 

At Gateway Rotary our biggest fundraising event of the year is our Robust Reds Wine Tasting & Silent Auction. Now in it's 9th year, this event is held in the fall and has become the City of Edmonton's largest charitable wine tasting event that tends to sell out every year. This year we are partnering with The Centre for Autism Services Alberta where a significant amount of the proceed's will go. Funds raised from the event are primarily through the silent auction, ticket sales, raffle tickets, Dutch Auction tickets and 50/50. Last year we raised just over $65,000 from this event! 

 

Our second fundraiser is our annual Winemakers Dinner. For $130 per ticket you can enjoy a 4 course gourmet meal specially prepared by a local chef and partnered with a featured winery from around the world. The winemaker comes to deliver the stories and intricacies of their winemaking and history. It's a wonderful evening and limited seating is available.
