May 5 notes
We had a good zoom May 5, 2021.
Unfortunately I don’t have my notes so I do not recall what we talked about.
I can report that we held a general meeting of the membership of Stephen’s Hope Society to limit it’s corporate objects in order to meet the CRA requirements for Charitable registration.
Following our meeting Mark drove to our members’ residences to pick up bottles for Club fundraising. He reported that he collected $250. I am not sure what that says about our members.
I listened to a presentation a week ago from Jesse Lipscombe. Jesse is involved in what I think is an interesting and important project. He is developing a board game that will educate players about our unconscious racism. He will be speaking to our club on June 12. That is the last day of his fundraising campaign. I have attached a link to a recent interview that he gave to describe his project. https://vimeo.com/531114493
