Judy reported that she returned from BC just before the roads closed. SHe said it was a harrowing experience.

 

Our condolences to Carolyn. Her mom passed away this week.  .

 

Our speaker this week was Michelle Gibson . Michelle is with the Family Centre. The Family Centre provides support and services to children, youth and families in our community.  It is a large, important and longstanding organisation that has ben offering important support for vulnerable members of the community.

 

I don't know about the rest of the Rotarians who attended our meeting but I had not known about the Family Center before the meeting. 

 

It was established in 1920 and incorporated in 1940s! With over 350 employees in a wide variety of roles.
